Las Vegas Weekend Trip

We went to Las Vegas for a convention for Steve's Work. So I went along for fun. It was the first time I had ever been to Las Vegas. It was fun to be together.
But, it's true...unless you gamble, smoke or drink...there is not a lot there. It was very busy and very smoke-filled.

I enjoyed taking my new camera out for a spin with the night lights. That was fun!

We saw Paris, New York, and the Fountains at the Ballagio. I really like to watch that!

We took a Gondola ride at the Venitian. We were serenaded all the while.

Time to go!

We are all so excited...Adam finally learned to ride his bike!

He was so proud of himself. He loves to go outside and ride now. Thank goodness.

Adam is 7 1/2 years old

The focused look on his face was great.

Oh...so sweet! (Don't let the picture fool you!)

Here are three of my monkeys in the tree.

It's that time again...leaf raking..How fun!

This is me and Kaitlyn going down a very steep slide.

She picked her own pumpkin. She was so proud of it.

Kaitlyn had a Field trip for her pre-school at the Black Island Farms.

Don't Forget to Vote!

We went to our family Halloween party as John McCain and Sarah Pailin.
It was a very fun night.
We got some great reactions.

Brooklyn loves to help me cook.

The kids made a very small snowman.

We came back from Hawaii...and snow welcomed us it seemed...YUCK!

HAWAII 2008

Waikiki on the beach

Kayaking out of Lanakai to a very nice island.Last night on Waikiki

Pictures from the island on Lanakai
Steve getting washed away on Lanakai

Steve recovered and ready for it again!
Breakfast at Dukes....always wonderful!! Lot's of Coconut Syrup on everything!!

Helicopter ride on Kauai...
Wailua falls

We had the best pilot ever. With the doors off the helicopter we got a great view! All so green and all so beautiful.

This is a famous snorkeling area called "Tunnels". We snorkeled here.
We went on a day adventure hike with kayaking, zip lining, hiking, and yes, rope swinging off a 20 foot cliff. Here is Steve enjoying the scenery. What's not to enjoy?

We had so much fun the whole time, however, the last hour before we took off we had a great time. We saw the Wialua falls and then took some pictures in a green field.

This was a picture of our last sunrise on Kauai. We already want to plan our next trip back!
